YK Desk

This custom-made desk was designed with the intention of having a streamline look while being space efficient and functional.

The only requirement from our client was to have a desk with specific dimensions, the style and look was up to us.

We created a very simple but attractive design. The geometrical design of the base, the two offset triangles, is a reference to the client’s dining table, an old wooden spoked wheel tabletop. The distressed round edges of the desktop are also found in the dining table.

The client’s apartment has a modern interior design; therefore, instead of using a wood base, we opted for metal. The metal provides a more contemporary and modern look; the straight and narrow lines create a connection with the space.
